This line is used for charcoal production from biomass of various raw materials such as husks, straw, wood sawdust, etc.

Working Process Description

1. The crusher is used to crush sunflower seed husks with 10-15% moisture content into qualified raw material, which is then fed into roller drying to prepare the raw material for briquetting.

2. Then through a single-screw feed conveyor and double-screw distributor, the prepared raw material is fed to three briquetters for briquette production (this is a semi-finished product, not yet charcoal). These briquettes then proceed to the carbonization furnace for final product production.

3. The line uses a biogasifier (gas generator) that produces combustible gas (methane, ethane, carbon monoxide, etc.) for subsequent use in the carbonization furnace. The gas produced by the gasifier undergoes purification, after which it is fed to the bottom part of the carbonization furnace for preheating.

The combustible gas produced from the actual carbonization of briquettes in the furnace returns to the furnace bottom and self-combusts. Such circulatory carbonization ensures no smoke and wastewater, which meets EP requirements.

4. By-products: wood tar and wood vinegar collected during production can be sold on the market.

Processing Indicators

From 2-3 tons of raw material we get approximately the same amount of rods and then, as a final product, 1 ton of charcoal (after the firing furnace). This indicator depends on the type of raw material: for example, to produce 1 ton of charcoal, about 3 tons of sunflower husks or 2 tons of wood sawdust will be required.

Energy efficiency of charcoal from sunflower husks - 6500-7000 kcal. Charcoal produced from sunflower husks and peanuts has even higher energy value - over 7000 kcal. The calorific value of charcoal from sunflower husks is higher than that of anthracite. 1kg of charcoal from sunflower husks in terms of calorific value is equivalent to 0.81-0.85m3 of natural gas.

Other parameters of the output product (for example, from sunflower husks): moisture - 3%, carbon content - 65-70%, ash content - no more than 5%, density - 0.9 tons/m3.

Usage

As heating material, in shashlik restaurants, etc.; as feed additive in animal husbandry, as fertilizer, industrial sector - in production of absorbents, activated carbon, dynamite, as plastic filler, in non-ferrous metallurgy, etc.
